  • Santa Claus vs. Jesus

Santa lives at the North Pole ...
    JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh ...
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year ...
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies ...
    JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ...
JESUS stands at your door and knocks,
and then enters your heart when invited.
You have to wait in line to see Santa ...
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap ...
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is
"Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?" ...
JESUS knew our name before we were born...
Not only does He know our name,
    He knows our address too.
He knows our history and future and
He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ...
JESUS has a heart full of love
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ...
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry" ...
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."
Santa's little helpers make toys ...
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts,
repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but ...
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree ...
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree....
    The cross.
    Put Christ Back In Christmas...
Jesus Is Still The Reason For The Season

    MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL :)

  • Anger vs. Love Tone

A saint asked his disciples, "Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?" The disciples thought for a while, one of them said, "Because we lose our calm, we shout for that."

"But why to shout when the other person is just next to you?" asked the saint. "Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?" The disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, "When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance."

Then the saint asked, "What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, why......? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small." The saint continued, "When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other."

"SPEAK LESS TO THE PEOPLE YOU LIKE THE MOST. IF THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR SILENCE THEY CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND YOUR WORDS!"

  • Pet Peeves

Everyone has pet peeves right? Mine happens to be people's grammar, haha. It's just so annoying when they mess up these stuff.

    1. Preposition at the end of a question. "Oh yeah, where were you at?"

    2. Subject and verb don't agree. "Somebody told me about it but they said I can't tell you."
SOMEBODY does not mean THEY! It has to be either he or she XD

    3. Lay vs. lie. WOW this one is sooo annoying. "The book is laying there." Lay? LAY?!?!?!!!! Haha I'm sorry but somebody LAYS the book which is why it LIES there.

    4. Double negatives... not even just "she doesn't get nothing" kind of sentence... I'm talking about some people who say "you couldn't hardly tell."

    5. Me and I. I made sure my brother understood this concept completely since he was 4 hahah ;) But it totally bugs me when people (even some adults!) say "Me and my family are coming." That's like saying, "me am coming." Just as annoying -- "You borrowed that from my sister and I." Dude think before you speak please? Literally =P

Haha that's all. Sorry for the rant but seriously, it's not that hard people! >.<

    I Do Believe

I was "tagged" by Tita Stef and Aisa
but I never got around doing this, but now I'm looking for things to do. Anything but study for my exams... hahaha. Oh man XD Anyways...

I believe that love is a commitment and not merely a feeling.
I believe the Jesus, love, and time heal.
I believe that happiness is a decision.
I believe that abortion is murder and under any circumstance, it is against the 5th commandment.
I believe in what 1 Cor 15:33 says: bad company corrupts good character.
I believe that you are what you take in, especially music!
I believe that God's plan for me is beyond my imagination.
I believe that a happy family is an early heaven.
I believe in living life to the fullest because there is so much that life has to offer.
But I also believe that I’m not going to able to enjoy my journey if I get stuck looking back.
I believe that God's got my back.
I believe that code names are the bomb.
I believe that direct quotes are also the bomb =P
I believe that if you're lucky enough to be different, don't ever change.
I believe that Notre Dame is my soul mate ^_^

    Peace out,
    - Kimberly
